KidsReachingKids (KRK) Conference '08

Another year has flown by and the KRK conference is coming up fast.

What a great opportunity to give your children a camp without the work involved in putting it together. All you do is register your leaders and kids (ratio 1:6), collect their medical history/needs, find some money and turn up. It couldn't be easier. To top it off you get to spend your time with your kids not rushing around organising!

Remember if you are fundraising or going to apply to community trusts for funding get going early so that you aren't disappointed. We have a letter available to go with your funding application if you require it.

Camp registrations are already coming in and we do have limited places so be quick. You can register and send us a $50 non-refundable deposit to secure your teams place, the balance to be paid by the 20 October.

KidsReachingKids is:

For children 7-11 with a leader ratio of one leader per six children. Mixed gender teams must come with male & female leaders for night time supervision.

• A conference for children. They get to listen to outstanding keynote sessions presented by fun & relevant communicators as well as having a choice of workshops to attend - these are all designed to help them develop team and to discover their talents/abilities. The children are then encouraged to use these for service and leadership amongst their peers.
• A conference where children attend with their leaders from their own group. This ensures that what begins in the children's lives at camp will continue once they go back home. Groups send teams with at least one female & one male leader.
• Our programme is varied and allows for all age groups to grow and be challenged physically, mentally, personally and spiritually. We have fun keynote sessions to encourage, plus workshops teaching practical skills, activities. There is also time set aside for team leaders to spend with their own team to encourage and build relationships.

KidsreachingKids 2008 features:

Theme: “Reach” with Keynote Speaker David Goodwin

North Island only: Tammy Tolman from Australia. Tammy is a musician and singer, conference speaker and writer, children's specialist and practitioner, whose ability to minister to children is second to none.

South Island only: This year we will be having a special children's Youth band from Christchurch leading the worship. As well as a special guest full of surprises!

Workshops: There will be a variety of both practical ministry and spiritual growth workshops for all the children.

Put KRK Camp in the diary and start fundraising. Make it a real team effort to be at KRK 2008. Remember to register early to ensure your place.
