Every second year, immediately following the Kidsreach Conference, Kidsreach hosts three day Creative Ministries (in Children’s Ministry) Seminar.
This is a series of seminars with guest speakers who are skilled in the different forms of Creative Arts and Strategies and can show how they can be used to reach children.
Students will receive a variety of effective tools which will enhance their ministry to children.
Subjects Include:
- An Introduction to Puppetry
- Advanced Puppetry
- Miming and Clowning
- Drama
- Dance
- Techniques for effective use of Power Point Presentations, Data Projector and Overhead projector
- Games – Fun Games, Review Games, Team and confidence building games
- Craft
- Performances using large numbers of children.
- Balloon Sculpturing
- Illusions
- Creative Ways to Lead Children to Prayer and Worship.
Although this subject is part of the Children's Ministry Diploma, it can be taken either as an audit subject (no assignments) or at Diploma level. Those taking it for credit towards a Diploma, will also need to attend the Kidsreach Conference. Details of how you can enrol will be on the Conference Registration Form.
This three day course is coordinated and hosted by David Goodwin. David's the International Director of Kidsreach and is a leading children's pastor who ministers in leaders seminars and conferences in different countries of the world - across many denominations - more about David here.
