The
ripest field is for evangelism is Children !
STRATEGY
Approximately one third of the world's population is under the
age of 15. In less evangelised areas of the world, this percentage
is considerably higher. Here children can form up to 50% of the
population. The harvest field is filled with children.
The
most receptive phase of a person's life is before 15 years of
age. Therefore, almost without exception, it is the children who
respond more readily to the message of salvation.
Ministry
to children is the most strategic ministry of the church and if
we were serious about evangelising the world, we would start with
children.

Dear
friend,
Kidsreach in 2008 is directly involved in missions projects in
4 countries that we have chosen because of the needs of children
there and because we know the people working there are trustworthy
and will build on the training and resources we will be providing.
Each
of the projects (as outlined below) are an important mission to
equip workers to help children who are suffering.
The
funds that are donated will be used for the aid and development
work of Kidsreach.
We
know everyone has different capacities to give. Some will be able
to give a few dollars, others may sponsor a whole project. All
are appreciated.
You
can donate in various ways, so please use the method that best
suits you. Some prefer to give anonymously, but if you give us
your details, we will send you a report at the end of the project
and a receipt.
Thank
you for your concern.
Regards
David Goodwin

being used in the civil war. There are reported to be almost
1 million child labourers and 40,000 child prostitutes in
Sri Lanka and more than half of them boys. There are many
unschooled children and half of Sri Lanka’s population

Port
Moresby 22 June to 4 July
Two 5-day Schools of Children's Counselling focusing on helping
children in grief and who are victims of abuse, trauma. One is an
advanced course for those who attended in 2006.
Funding
Needs:
Travel, resources (manuals for workers) living expenses while in
PNG: $3000.00.
Prayer Needs
Children
make up nearly half of Papua New Guinea's 5.6 million people. Fewer
than half of all school-age children are enrolled in school, and
those who leave school early are unlikely to ever find paid employment.
Many
children are subjected to violence which result in them becoming
gang members (“raskols”), street vendors and child sex
workers. These are increasing problems. The most needy families
are isolated from support structures that might help.
